PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This Patient Experience program is designed for Physicians and Advanced Practitioners. The training provides a review of powerful communications skills that will enhance the clinician’s image. The session will examine the patient's perspective of interactions, and the behaviors that make a genuine connection to allow for effective communication. The four parts of this program will review communications skills in opening a patient encounter, during the visit and treatments and closing the encounter.

ACCREDITATION
St. Francis Hospital is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
This activity was designated for 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THIS PROGRAM
To attain certification, you must first register by clicking the "REGISTER FOR PROGRAM" link located at the bottom of this page.
This program is divided into four short sections or courses and, in total, requires about 60 minutes to complete.
The program does not need to be completed in a single online session. You can log off at any point and return to the activity at the point that you exited. All exam question responses to the point of logoff are automatically saved.
The LOGIN link to resume a course in progress is found on the main portal page.
This program is comprised of a sequence of four short video courses. Each part is followed by 4 or 5 exam questions. You must score 100% on the exam questions in order to continue to move ahead in the program.
When you have completed the final part, the Course Results page will display. This page will contain your final grade and allow you to immediately view/print your Certificate if you have achieved the minimum passing score of 100%. Once the program has been successfully completed, your Certificate will be available at all times from your Control Panel.
